When I was walking through Trader Joes last week, I saw blood oranges and immediately decided it was time for a new cocktail recipe!
They just happen to have a super tasty Italian Blood Orange soda that helps make this a super easy recipe with minimal ingredients. I love the vibrant colors and flavors that this cocktail has and can't wait to share it with friends!

Italian Blood Orange Soda
Vodka based cocktails are typically my favorite as far as mixed drinks go. I love the simplicity of this recipe and that it can be jazzed up with soda, fresh blood oranges and a little mint.
If you can't find the soda at Trader Joe's, look for an Italian Blood Orange Soda that has that beautiful red-orange color.

Make the Cocktails

Italian Blood Orange Vodka Soda
A refreshing and vibrant vodka cocktail made with Blood Orange Soda!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Italian Blood Orange Soda
- 2 Shots of Vodka
- 2-4 Sprigs of Mint
- 2 Blood Oranges
- Ice
Instructions
- Slice 1 blood orange into thin slices. Cut one blood orange in half.
- Add ice to two glasses. Insert blood orange slices onto the inside of the glass. Move the ice to hold the oranges into place.
- Add one shot of vodka into each glass.
- Top with Italian Blood Orange Soda and stir gently.
- Squeeze ½ a blood orange into each drink.
- Garnish with mint and a slice of blood orange on the rim of the glass.
- Enjoy!
