I've been doing a lot of baking this week and decided to try making a Candy Cane Christmas Danish. It turned out so good, that I am sharing the recipe with you! My all time favorite treat to get at Starbucks is their cream cheese danish. Well, this tastes like that but even better! This candy cane shaped, cream cheese and strawberry danish will be added to our Christmas morning breakfast, for sure! The recipe calls for only 5 ingredients and can be made in under 20 minutes! Grab all the details below.
How to make a Candy Cane Christmas Danish
This Candy Cane Christmas Danish is so easy to make and it will be a total hit for breakfast or a tasty treat. I love making dishes with crescent dough since it is so easy to grab and bake. For this recipe, roll out each piece of crescent dough and place the triangles on a silat lined, cookie sheet. Place each piece overlapping the next piece with the thin point of the triangle facing left. Once you get to the top of the cookie sheet, start turning the triangles to form the top of the candy cane. Pinch the pieces together where they are overlapping. Next, add the filling and a spoonful of jam to each triangle. Then wrap the pointed part of the crescent triangle over the fillings and pinch on to the other side. Pinch the bottom of the candy cane closed as well as the sides so the filling does not come out.
