After the many road trips we've taken over the years, I've come across a few tips for road trip essentials that I have to share! Just over the weekend we took a trip to Disneyland and one to Legoland. Road trips always run more smoothly with a good bag (or 2!) packed and ready to go! I have a couple of bags for different things so I will go over each of them below. I'm excited to partner with Perfect Bar to bring you this post on Road Trip Essentials!
I've recently discovered that having 2 bags packed in the car works best for us. The first bag is super simple and my latest discovery. I've been packing a cooler bag stocked with water bottles and ice packs. This worked out great for a day at a theme park. Simply bring along your regular water bottle for the car ride, then the cooler bag waters are for the end of the day. We brought our regular water bottles to the theme park and filled them up as needed. Then when we got back in the car we had the cooler bag ready with cold waters.
Bag number 2 is for all of the essentials needed for any road trip. I always have this thing stocked up with things like wipes, a change of clothes for the kids, snacks, sunglasses, books and toys. I try not to eat too many processed foods so I typically grab some Perfect Bars out of the fridge as we head out for our road trips.
My favorite flavor is the Dark Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Perfect Bar. It reminds me of cookie dough and I love the mini chocolate chips on top. These are one of my favorite bars because they are fresh, full of protein and include over 20 superfoods in each bar! They keep us full for a long time which is great for any road trip!

The kids love bringing sticker books and small toys for when they get bored in the car too. I like to make sure I have a good book to read for the longer trips when Mark is driving. I'm currently finishing up Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk. Please send me any of your latest book recommendations for our next trip!
Happy Road Tripping! xo - Bri
