The Legoland Castle Hotel is officially open! We attended the media preview and got to stay the night as the first guests of the hotel last night! What an amazing adventure! This place is pretty amazing. I’m sitting in my knights & dragons hotel room as I write this. The hotel has 250 premium themed rooms also including royal princess or magic wizard. I love the themes and the attention to detail spent on making it a wonderful place for kids. Every spot is thought out for kiddos. The lobby, restaurant and every room has Lego building stations and it really does feel like a castle.
When we first arrived we headed straight to the entertainment courtyard which hosts play zones for kids of all ages, an outdoor movie screen, a large playground and grass area. In the evening they have characters and interactive entertainment. The kiddos were rocking out last night to kids bop music with bubbles flying around and characters in full costume attire.
The lobby has a large Lego station that the kids can sit in and build as parents check into the hotel. They also have a giant slide that the little missy has gone down at least 100 times! They did the lobby scavenger hunt and each received this awesome Lego Dog toy set.
The rooms are pretty ideal for families. I wish all hotels were set up like this! There is an area just for the kids with a bunk bed, Lego building station, tv, starry sky, kid height peep hole and Lego characters all over the walls. Even the carpet looks like a royal palace. The bathroom is in between the kid area and adult room so it really feels like separate spaces. They loved sleeping in bunk beds too!
Do you think they like it here?!
Spotted this message after about 10 minutes in the room!
We just finished up a tasty breakfast in the Dragons Den. They offer a full-service sit down restaurant with free buffet breakfast and made to order items. The kiddos loved the yogurt cups and I enjoyed the smoked salmon, avocado boats and strawberry waffles! We’ve had a great experience so far and can’t wait to come back. We are headed to the pool to check that out!
