Living Room Reveal

It's time for the BIG reveal!!! I am so excited to share these photos of our living room makeover. Do you remember what our living room looked like before? Our journey started off with new paint from Behr (which we love). Then we met BoConcept and I shared how the design process works and how our in-store design consult went. BoConcept has been so easy to work with and incredibly helpful. The whole process is seamless and really fun.

The transformation from our living room before to now is amazing! I couldn't be happier. The colors, style, contour, depth, and overall look and feel of the room is so much more welcoming and fitting for our family. The pieces also cater more to our needs. We had an entertainment center before but it wasn't as functional. The new piece looks clean and crisp and fits all of the items we need it to fit. Previously our dvd player was on top of the piece. No bueno for this girl.

I love the photo of Ellie girl above. She is right in her happy spot looking out the front door. The new barstools are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. I find it really hard to find quality barstools that are the right height. These are easily adjustable and fit perfect at our little bar. I often sit at the bar to work since it is the most central spot in the house. I love that the chairs have really good support. Our old chairs were metal and really not good for long periods of working.

My kiddo is always playing or snacking at her little table. I was happy to see that the new living room design incorporated her toys and necessities too.

I love the colors of the couch and the pillows against the Gravelstone paint. The shelving looks pretty fantabulous too! The shelves bring this level of depth and design that we never had before. 

I absolutely love that I have a nice space for sharing family photos now. I previously just had a few generic flower paintings on the wall that looked nice but didn't have much meaning. I love looking up and seeing my kiddo's baby photos on the shelf. I'm thinking of getting a few mini canvas' made of her photos so they look a little more uniform together.

I never would have selected this gold pillow before but like I said before I LOVE IT! That is why it is so important to work with a designer from the store who know's their stuff. Precious added this pillow in for a little variation and it completely changed and elevated the look for me. 

Did I mention this rug?! This is probably my absolute favorite new piece. I love the colors and the geometric shapes. It really brings a whole different feel to the room. It is crazy how much color and shape can make an effect. The metal pieces from the bottom of the couch and table really tie everything together. I love the little details of a room.

These mini ottomans are perfect for adding extra seating to a room. I love the pop of color it adds too. Our girl is pretty happy with the new digs, which makes Mark and I super happy!
