The Best Food & Drinks in June Lake, CA

I've been going to June Lake, CA since I was a little kid. We typically do a one week trip there each year (minus a few years). June Lake Loop consists of four lakes including June, Gull, Silver and Grant. It's a beautiful small town about 20 minutes past Mammoth. We typically stay at the June Lake Motel right in the heart of the town. It's a great location for our family since we typically book out 4-5 rooms and they are always able to get us right by each other. We spend most days fishing, exploring, paddle boarding and relaxing. June Lake Marina

The June Lake Marina is an awesome spot to grab a drink and enjoy the views. We often go to the other side of the lake to enjoy the beach and let the kids swim but the marina is a great spot for everyone to relax. The boats go in and out of the marina and you can rent a kayak for only $15/hour. This was one of my fav experiences of the whole trip. They have a large tree swing that we all loved too. Their store includes fishing gear, snacks and cold drinks. I picked up a Jetway, a tasty wine seltzer and watched the kids and Lucy play in the water. They also have June Lake Brewing's seltzers and Mammoth Brewing Co. beers!

Breakfast at Silver Lake Resort

My favorite place for breakfast is Silver Lake Resort. They have the best little old school diner. I love their breakfast potatoes and simple dishes. Everything is pretty standard (but delicious) like pancakes and bacon & eggs. They have daily specials like breakfast tacos or huevos rancheros. It is breakfast done right, every time I've been. The restaurant sits right across the lake with the most beautiful views of Silver Lake.

June Lake Brewing

The best spot for beers and seltzer slushies is June Lake Brewing. They have a large patio with picnic tables and shade covers. They brew new beers all the time and offer their staples as well. We've loved the slushies ever since they started serving them a few years ago. They have 2 food trucks currently at the brewery. Our fav is Ohana's Aloha style food but they are moving to Susanville in October! We've been big fans of their Honolulu noodles and are sad to see them leave. La Parrilla Grill & Tacos is also really good Mexican and Ice Cream! We had really good fish and shrimp tacos from the truck. They also make a new flavor of soft serve ice cream each day. Get it in a cone, a cup or with churros!

June Pie & T-Bar Social Club

Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time was from June Pie, also served at T-Bar Social Club. They are open daily from 12 pm serving NY style pizza. Call to order (760) 648-7774 or dine downstairs with a full bar at T-Bar Social Club. They also had one of the best Mango Margaritas I've ever had! A must stop for sure!
