We had so much fun at our first San Diego Seals game! We went to the Stadium Showdown at Snapdragon stadium to watch the San Diego Seals lacrosse team battle the Las Vegas Desert Dogs. We had a great time taking the kids to this game. We've also never been to the Snapdragon Stadium so there were a lot of firsts for us all. We worked with the San Diego Seals to bring you all the details on the Stadium Showdown and they sent us some awesome gear to wear to the game. We had no idea how fun it would be to watch a lacrosse game in action and I'm so glad we went.
Watching a Seals Game
When we first arrived to the game, we headed straight to our seats. We watched a few minutes of the game then realized we all wanted to get something to drink. As we walked around, we found a lot of food and drink options at the stadium. I opted for a coffee, the kids got lemon soda and Mark grabbed a beer. There were a few vendors set up giving little freebees away so the kids stopped by those booths too. We also ran into Salty the Seal! We had to snap a few photos.
They also handed out Seals towels which were great for cheering on the team.
In addition to all the action the lacrosse game put on, there were dancers and entertainment during any break. The kids loved the funny little characters that came out and danced. I loved that they played good music throughout the whole game and always encouraged the crowd to get loud!
I really never thought of myself as too much of a sports person, but I'm starting to really enjoy sports lately. 11 and 7 is a great age to take the kids to a sports event. They both loved watching the game and walking around to check things out.
We had a blast watching the San Diego Seals beat the Las Vegas Desert Dogs, 15-12! If you want to check out a game, check out their schedule. The San Diego Seals typically play at Pechanga Arena. Good luck to the San Diego Seals for the season! xo, Bri
