There are so many ways to celebrate holidays and this year, I'm making a Valentine's Day Dessert Board! I always walk right by the cute little cookies and cakes at Trader Joe's and think how cute they are. This time, I decided to pick some up and make an early dessert board to enjoy for the week. This board would also make for an awesome dessert tray to bring in to the office, host a play date or share with friends and family! All of the items are from Trader Joe's and can be made for right around $25. If you're looking for more ideas, grab all our fav Valentine's Day recipes here.
How To Make a Valentine's Day Dessert Board
First things first, you're going to need a board. I used a round cutting board, but any kind will work. Next, you're going to want to find a few cute items. This love of chocolate mousse cake is the perfect centerpiece. I love that it's chocolate and has the pink heart with green leaves. I also picked up dark chocolate covered marshmallows, strawberries, raspberries, heart cookies and raspberry mousse cakes.
Then open up all of the goodies and rinse your berries.
Next, start making the board. Add the cake to the center and start arranging the next largest items. I spread out the cookies and mini cakes evenly around the cake.
Then add the berries and chocolates in the extra space.
