Mark and I had so much fun during our latest visit to Las Vegas. We did so much exploring that we ended up walking over 10 miles in one day. Don't worry, you don't have to do that to enjoy all of these fun spots! We did find our favorite 10 Spots to Check Out in Las Vegas in the Daytime and are sharing them all with you right here! We spent two nights at the Flamingo which was super central on the Vegas strip. It was within walking distance to most of the spots on this list too. We have a couple spots that we took a 5 minute cab ride to see and they are worth it.
We did most of our exploring during the day while in Vegas for this trip. I know Vegas can have more of a nighttime scene but since we went in December when it was a bit chilly, we did more exploring by day. We are also not gamblers so we specifically went to Vegas for the food and entertainment. We found so many unique, fun and beautiful spots to explore.
One of my favorite things about Vegas is that there is always something going on. You can wake up at anytime and walk out on the casino floor and people are all around doing their thing.
We found some delicious spots to eat, and some not so good. I'll be sharing our favorites in our 10 spots to visit below!
10 Spots to Check Out in Las Vegas in the Daytime
- Giada at The Cromwell - Everything is delicious
- Bouchon Bakery at The Venetian - Get the cheese danish
- The Chandelier Bar at The Cosmopolitan - Beautiful spot for a drink
- Gondola Ride & Walk Around at The Venetian - Enjoy the ride or walk around for the views
- Carlos 'N Charlie's at The Flamingo - Fun dive like bar with happy hour and good music
- Boss Cafe at the Linq - Quick and tasty spot for breakfast
- The Noodle Den at Sahara - The best walnut shrimp and noodles!
- The Linq Promenade - Awesome spot to walk through. Enjoyed the patio at AmeriCAN bar
- Meow Wolf Omega Mart at Area 15 - Amazing walk through art displays
- Cabo Wabo at Planet Hollywood - Great spot on the strip for a bite, drink or people watching
The photo above is the view from our hotel room at The Flamingo. You can see the High Roller observation wheel. This looks like it would be fun too but we didn't try it out yet. It's a 30 minute ride to view the city.
We had a blast checking out so many different food spots. The photos above were from the Noodle Den and Boss Cafe. The honey walnut shrimp was one of the best I've ever had. I loved their fresh made noodles too. The Boss Cafe has breakfast pizza which was also a must try. I love the focaccia style bread with pizza like breakfast toppings.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo as well. It was one of the most affordable options at the time of booking and we weren't sure how nice it would be but it exceeded my expectations. I loved the down to earth party vibe they seem to have on the whole property.
Check Out Area 15
We had an absolute blast at Area 15. There are so many things to see there. We did the Meow Wolf Omega Mart experience and I highly recommend it. It's an interactive art experience. You basically start by walking through a strange grocery store and when you open up the refrigerator door to look at the milk, it takes you through a walkway into what seems like another dimension. The giant flowers in the photo below were my favorite. There are hidden doors with lots of rooms to explore when you find them. We also loved the Emporium Las Vegas bar upstairs with arcade games. Area 15 is awesome for couples, friends or families.
I hope you find a fun spot or a few to check out from our list. Tell me in the comments if you have been or will be checking out any of these places! We had a great visit to Vegas and can't wait to see more soon!
We received tickets to Omega Mart and were hosted at Noodle Den for media consideration. All opinions are my own.
